Near to the sagarmatha national park

- An entry fee of N.Rs.1000 should be paid at the national park's ticket counter at tri-Devi Marg,Thamel,Kathmandu before starting the journey .The ticket could also be obtained from the park entrance Gate at Monjo.

- Entering the park without permit is illegal.Park personnel may ask for the permit,so visitors are requested to                                  keep the permits with them.

- Visitors should be self sufficient in fuel supply.The use of firewood is strictly prohibited.

- Camping inside the park should be made only at the designated sites.

- Purchase of wildlife trophies and religious artifacts are against the law and can result in heavy penalty.

- Flora and fauna are fully protected and must not be disturbed.

- Rubbish must be packed out, burried or disposed of in designated areas.

- Non-biodegradable items such as plastic bags & bottles are not allowed inside here.

- Never take or purchase objects of cultural importance from shrines or houses along the trail.

- Mountain bikes and motor bikes are prohibited inside the park.
